Hi all,
I am wondering how you support your tomatoes and what size?

Hammock suspended from overhead rod by twine, with a short piece of chain at where hammock is attached so hammock can be raised or lowered as necessary to take stress off the stem.

But I've also found out that a 11.96 tomato didn't need any support, so ?

Id probably use the square-cut ankle part of a worn out sock next year... maybe thats unappetizing but it could be a clean worn out sock... This year I used mesh squares from a large laundry bag. Worked ok but I reckon some of the dingleberries were feeling a bit uncomfortable.
Just gotta support them about baseball size they could crimp your vine, unless you can tell that it wont crimp or break or fall down? I have one that's just been resting on straw on the ground. Probably not a great idea but it's doing a Dan move! Not everyone is getting the A-list treatment.

I use paint strainer bags with sytrings at the 4 corners which I tie to the tomato cage. Just as important is to shift the rest of the plant over so that the fruit has room to GROW!
