Hats off to my MasterMater team mate for what looks like a New PA record. It looks like Jonathan's 7.4 Slob will pass the 6.83 Fulk which Paul weighed in 2015. Way to go Jon, I am sure Marv is smiling down and is PA proud. And quite a "Rookie" season he has had with joining the 7.4 on his resume are a 6.59 a 5.56; 5.35; 5.12 and a 4.48. Hey looking at those number are reminding me of what a crappy year I am having. I suck. Come on Ned... lets weigh something. I am gonna grow in a sleeping bag and tent next year. Congrats Bravo!! I gotta go call Porky and rub it in before he catches this site.

Incredibly impressive Jonathan! What makes it over-the-moon impressive is that you grew them in grow bags. Congrats!!

Thanks, and as Ned said they are "sleeping bags", the stuff he says cracks me up. I tried them based on what Mr. Sutherland said about his experience. If I can have that luck as a rookie I firmly believe world records can be done in them. Look at what was done in 5 gallon grow bags. The question is whats the right stuff to put in those bags, I used mostly promix with tomato tone and watered in a little bit of lime with extra vermiculite. I don't believe this is the best way, but it was something I could control the PH easily with. I think it was the seeds that help me out the most though, the 6.32 LaRue has put up some nice ones and If I was anyone that had one, definitely plant it. I would love to take credit for everything but without the books, the seeds, the answered questions, this website, I wouldn't of gotten close to what I did. Can't over stress how appreciative I am of having everyone here as a resource. Excited to see what's coming to the scales next. Lets Go!!!!!!!

I don't think world records can be grown in a bag/pot,I think that may be a little bit of a stretch! Lol!

I said the same thing as you did after I grew an almost 4 lb. tomato the first year I did the indoor winter grow, but I'm sure not saying that anymore, so I certainly don't find fault with you thinking that. You did an awesome job, keep it up!
