I just wanted to make an announcement that we have lost one of our teammates on team 8. Hank Houston suddenly passed away a few days ago. I was just getting to know Hank in the last little while via email and he seemed like a very good man with a passion for growing these giants. My condolences go out to his family. A good friend of Hanks has stepped up to the plate and decided to join our team, Davis Wells will be Hanks replacement. I asked the contest organizers and they said that because of Davis’s personal best weight he would be similar to Hanks rating. So team 8 will now be called “Hank’s Tomato Guardians”

Porkchop, thanks for those seeds. I got 10 of those in the ground and 6 from my plant last year. I see I've been drafted onto a team with some guys that are way out of my league but I'll do what I can. Thanks for putting this together again. It's nice to grow some vines you don't have to bury every day.
