When do you cut the tip of your plants? I have the 5th panicle developing, each panicle about 8 fruits so I have a total of 40 fruits per plant. Should I go beyond? All fruits will be medium sized due to the breed.

I call what you are calling a panicle a truss. I do not top my plants. I pinch all lower suckers off as the plant grows. An indetermiate plant will continue to grow and produce tomatoes if it doesn't get to hot for the blooms to set.I have a brandywine plant now about 8' tall still setting friut it is in a half barrel it was a leggy plant that I decided not to put in the garden. Some top the plants to get them to ripen their tomatoes , stop growing vine and put the energy to the tomatoes. It just depends on what you want to do with them.

What tomatoe variety grows the biggest fruit? Delicious? Big Zac? I think the world's record is a Delicious Red.
