A quick Google search shows a 2004 World Record of 64.8 pounds grown by Scott Robb of Alaska. This seed is sold by P & P seed as the "world record".

Maybe someone who knows can confirm this. Not sure about the UK record.

When does everyone start the plants in the spring?
And what is the growing time line for the lopes?
Do they mature faster than kins or about the same?
thanks Randytcat
