We'll mine were looking great till yesterday, We had a big storm come thru and it hit the lopes hard. Hopefully they will fill in with new growth if it will settle down some. Hats off to the Texans they been dealing with some rough heat, and still growin em big.

Hey Paul there been alot of talk about beagles on here, but sounds like we need to bring some Mtn Curs down to Texas to help you catch the coons and hogs.

Curs are absolutely fearless. Ive hunted all kinds but they are the top scrappers in the huntin dog field. Got one in my garden, he keeps pretty much everything at bay. My neighbors boxer figured out this spring it's not a good idea to dig in my garden.

lol holloway they use the yellow curr's for cattle dogs and they ride on the back of flatbed one ton pickups and the drunk cowboys dont remember they are there and they dont get off no matter how fast they drive.

ITS a blackmouth cur your looking at paul, they also use the catahoula cur for hogs and stock, the mountain cur here we use for squirrel, coon hunting some use them on bear but since they are breed to be silent trailers they are crossed with plott hounds for bear. just my input LOL been using treetogs for 40 yrs. any of them will work for the garden. TREETOP

Nothing like hunting with dogs for anything. Squirrel is about all dog huntin I do now. Don't have time to follow those coon dogs all night any more.
