what anmials eat cantelopes ,lol im finding scratch marks in mine the only thing i got around is squirls???? and chipmunks and maybe a few neiborhood cats!!! can anyone tell me if they wouldeat my melon???? hate to loose it its not huge but looking pretty good and starting to get obshaped lol thanks pizza

Just about any thing will eatem including rats. When they get ripe it gets worse, a giant cantelope puts off a whole lot of ripe cantelope scent. No tellin how far a critter can smell it. Might try a wire cage around the melon if you have room.
