Thanks Jake, they are a fun plant to grow, but I think I'll stick to grocey store ones for eating, it wasn't all that flavorful. The chickens seemed to really enjoy it though.

Very very nice...that's big cantaloupe!! We let ours ripen all the way to yellow before we eat them.Everyone here thought they were sweeter than a regular lope.

Taste seems hit and miss with me. Don't know why but some taste really good and some don't. Seems to help if you have ALOT of room an a fridge, you can store them in there a while. They can get totally ripe without rotting. I went all nuclear this year so won't be eating them.

Thanks guys, I have a couple more coming off in the next week or so, so I will taste them and maybe they will be better. Its not they were bad, it just wasn't great.
