got pics in diary of one we grew 39 lbs.from the 55 james. it got a bad spot on it so we picked it a couple of days early

Congrats David thats a nice lope. Looks like it might have started as surface cracking, they do that some times as there getting mature. Humidity and heat probablly just made it worse.

it started out as a small crack that looked dry and the more it growed the bigger it got. I didnt have it covered
so i am sure the sun didnt help
