I have a cantaloupe that is probably 60% orange and I can smell it from really far away. Should I pick it today or wait for a few more days?

Without seeing it I'd guess you've got 24 hours or less to get it pulled unless you can keep the temperature down, then at most 48 hrs. Two things to remember: this is only a guess.... AND ..... a bird in the hand....
