I planted the tall corn about 12-18 inch apart and put 3 seeds in each hole, all of the seeds sprouted in groups of three and are now about 6 inch's tall. My question is can I try to pull or dig a few plants out to replant in by there self or is this corn fragile and will die if I try to relocate? I want the corn to grow as tall as it can but dont think it will do so overcrowded in groups of three?

Pulling or digging two out will damage the roots of the remaining one. I would cut off the smallest two plants just above the ground. Transplanting them will set them back a bit, and they will likely not catch up the entire season.
