Hi All
Will I need to ball the plants that I am taking to weigh off or can I cut them at the base of the ground?

Grim, from what I understand, no need to bring root ball...ground level (might include some, or a lot of exposed roots) to tip is what is measured. Different sites might measure diff, but cannot think, that roots (below ground level) would be measured, as length.
How are you gonna transport this plant, tip might blow off goin down the road if not protected? Peace, Wayne

Wayne,
I was thinking how I had seen the plants when at the County Fair They always had a root ball. But that could of been so it would make it through the week.
I was going to shrink wrap it to a couple of boards.
