Tallest? Biggest head? Thickest stalk?
I am trying to figure out some crosses to make, I have some of Norm Craven's strains but they mostly seem to go to multiple heads, not sure why.
Does anyone know the parentage of Richard Hope's strain? (P&P seems to have some), and also of what strain Hans-Peter Schiffer used to get the record with? I'm trying to trace the family trees at play. Lots of the tllest ones could benefit from thicker stalks and larger heads, and I'd love to be able to try to breed some of that in. But no idea how to trace the family trees of the strains used by the record holders.. if anyone has any info, let me know!

I would love to get a hold of some hans peter shiffers seeds, he seems to have the complete package with tall sturdy and big heads with his plants, but i couldnt find anyone who could get in touch with him or his seeds. Im thinking that he wont share them with anyone ??? As for seed strain goes i have no answers. Bubba had a tall sunflower contest last year and again this year, he may have some good contacts to find out this information ?
