How many days until sunflowers and giant corn mature?

Tall corn can take up to 225 days, depending on the variety.
Sweet corn is about 100-120 days, while some tall corn can be 180 days.
Sunflowers started now will be done by the beginning of October.

I usually plant my tall corn in the garden at the end of April. I have done better with sunflowers by waiting until Memorial day. That way the plant is fresher come our local fair in early September.

I am still trying to get my Montana to germinate. I'm on seed #4 of the 5 I have. :( They are 2 years old, I planted Tehua and Olotillo the last couple years, but decided to do Montana this year. Absolutely no one has any Monntana or Tehua seeds left that I've asked either. So that plan seems to be fading fast.

Thank you for the info guys. I have been planning to plant some tall corn just this year. I think that it's the perfect time to start planting.
