I may have to try it. Nutrition is everything, just because we put calcium into the soil or on the plant doesn't mean that the plant is able to use it. The Chelated form of calcium must be what the plant needs.

They use some specific chemical to chelate it, I'm not sure if it has to be that specific chemical or not. I dont even know if the chemical they use would be considered organic. Also, I believe in the study it sounds like they were spraying the foliage/ foliar feeding? ...and maybe using it as a preventative? I didnt quite get to reading the part about why they think it works (if that was even there, i dont know).

Being a redneck hobby farmer, I will skip straight to trying my own version of chelated calcium... and skip the part about understanding why it (possibly) works. At least for now.
