I was at the Silver Bell weigh off and I don't see any mention of the pumpkin that weighed in at 1011 pounds. I know it was damaged (split on the blossom side) but it was the only one over a thousand pounds. I think it should at least receive honorable mention.
I also understand that the grower who grew the 1011 supplied the seed for Mr. VanSchuppen. I didn't catch his name but as a having an interest in growing Big Pumpkins I would love to pick his brain. So if anyone knows who he is please let me know.
