A great day was had by everyone today. The weather cooperated and a huge crowd was on hand. Results are;

1st - Cameron Carnegie - 676 lb - from 877 Hester X open
2nd - Paul Eto - 486 lbs - from 265 Eto X self (new PB)
3rd - Chad Gilmore - 477 lbs - from 905 Ailts X 760 Pappas
4th - Steve Perrault - 470 lbs - from 948 van Kooten X 826.5 Shymanski (new PB)
5th - James Hooper - 386 lbs - from 621 Pley X self (new PB)
6th - Glenn Dixon - 373 lbs - from 803 Sandercock X 826.5 Shymanski
7th - Pemberton Station Pub - 267 lbs - from 803 Sandercock X 826.5 Shymanski
8th - Chris Hopkins - 239 lbs - grown from 826.5 Sandercock (first year grower) Also voted prettiest pumpkin.
9th - Darren Sturch - 219 lbs - from 1142 van Kooten X open
10th - Bob Lonsdale - 110 lbs - from 578 Sturch X open
11th - Trevor Hoy - 101 lbs - from 220 Hoy X open

Congrats go to Cameron for another good entry, my Buddy Steve for a new personal best and of course the Lawman for a personal best as well. Was great to see Chad, Darren and all the other growers and family.

Hey Lawman, that was a very nice top 6 result. You beat me by 13 lbs and it was close until we looked at the scale.

Guess that means good luck for you next year...lucky 13.

Thanks, sorry, but I must point on that as far as I know, an 877 Hester doesn't exist; the seed I grew my pumpkin from was the 977 Hester. Thanks to Glenn for putting on such a nice weigh-off! Had a great time.
