The Sonoma County, California Harvest Fair Pumpkin Weigh Off will be held on Sunday, October 8th at the fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. The competition is open to any grower from the State of California. The Sonoma County Harvest Fair will be accepting entries which have been weighed previously...so since you will already be loaded up, drive on over to Santa Rosa for the weighoff the next day. First place is $1000, second is $500, third is $250, fourth is $125, and fifth is also $125. There is a $15 entry fee and the deadline to enter is September 1st.
