This is 3rd annual pumpkin weigh-off & festival. We are the group last year that broke the world record for the world's largest pumpkin pie by baking a pie at 12'4" (2,020 lbs). We have the support of the entire community and predict again another huge crowd.

Schedule of Events is as follows:
7:00 AM - Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast with many pumpkin related booths opening up throughout the day.
9:00 AM - Farmer's Market & Craft Booths open
11:30 AM - Pumpkin Olympics (Kids classes including adult participating in the chuck, spit, and roll games.)
Noon - Beer truck opens up including Pumpkin Ale
TBA - Ohio State Football will be shown on a huge Bud Lite Screen.
1:00 PM - Pumpkin Pie Contest
2:00 PM - Pumpkin Bean Bag Tournament
2:00 PM - Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off
4:30 PM - Awards from the Weigh-off
5:00 PM - Pumpkin Drop (we are called it the Pumpkin Plunge) from a 80' crane. We will make three attempts.
6:00 PM - First Band starts (Three Day Weekend)
8:00 PM - Second Band starts (The Indoorfins)
10:00 PM - New Bremen film will be shown to the community

Prize money is as follows:
1) - $1,000.00 with a Olympic style metal including Pumpkinfest shirt
2) - $750.00 with a Olympic style metal including Pumpkinfest shirt
3) - $500.00 with a Olympic style metal including Pumpkinfest shirt
4) - $250.00
5) - $100.00
6~10) - $50.00

Our festival and weigh-off is under a huge pavilion, so wet weather conditions is no concern.


Come and enjoy the day with us. Lodging is close, so no problem enjoying the entire day and evening with us.

Group has decided to increase 1st place prize $ an additional $500 for a world record pumpkin.

Our weigh-off is a later date (Oct 14th), so if it's still putting on pounds, why not leave it on the plant.
