I'd like to enter a weigh-off this year but I can't find any information on weigh-offs in the lower mainland. If possible can someone please let me know when the weigh-offs are and how to enter?

The only lower mainland weigh-off is in North Vancouver at the end of October.

I organize this event but have started a new business and just have not had the time to pull together all the sponsors and other details.

There is also a weigh-off in Nanaimo on Oct.14. The PNWGPG have a new weigh-off in Everett, WA on Oct. 21

Nanaimo weigh-off eh? Do you know who puts it on? Purhaps I could sign up for that one as well?

I mostly just want to meet other growers in my area.

Glenn, why not go for GPC cert then the rest of BC wouldn't have to travel to Smoky Lake. It's incredible that BC has no GPC site!!! I was talking to Jake about this earlier in the season and agreed that one should be located in the lower mainland as more populated, thus more concentration of growers there. However, if nobody steps up to bat I will give it a crack here in the Okanagan in a couple of years. Wouldn't it be nice..... I appreciate the time involved and understand you have lots going on but maybe someone else would step up? Deb
