I believe we have a new North Carolina state record to report. Lena Reinsvold, wife of RogNC, has a certified weight of 921 lbs. The pumpkin was weighed at the Dixie Classic Fair in Winston-Salem, N.C. on 9-27.

Thank you all, and this site, i just coached i did give her the best spot and room to grow. I am changing that as i write with expantion, of my patches, and the hvy guns come off the shelf next spring. You no what the kicker was she had only 1 seed thats it! She picked it up at a growers meeting that big biggie (Jim Doll) sponcerd.
All i can say is she listened, and its ON NOW!!!! And its neat to see your pumpkins on the big city news everyday the fair lasts till the 8th of Oct. Great luck to all of you! And thanks, Rog

Jim congratulation on winning a 1370 wanna trade it? i can offer 5 top seeds for it. Roger, and thank you, and yes Lena does do some things differant than me, but i pay attenion always learning one thing she didnt do is till, you can thank Jack Larue for that i'm leaning that way my self because she still had a great worm population at years end, in opinion it had a great impact on the fruits growth.
