I found a scale company that has calibrated scales to weigh Fatback on. I want to know what and who I might need at the site to make the weight official. I will have a notary lined up and some unbiased witnesses. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. Please post here or e-mail me at brianhildebrand@hotmail.com Thanks in advance for any info. Wouldn't hurt to have a County Extensions Agent on hand. I think that in my area that state records are only official with them on hand if it is a private thingy. To get one, just call the office, and tell they you have a 600 lb pumpkin, and i am sure one or more of them will gladly volunteer to be there.

Tom,,I'm still getting a little growth,,3/4" in cir. a day...Hadnt taken ee,,and ot measurements since the weekend...Brian,,,feed yours some 34-0-0..Apply heavily,,water in,,add some more buddy...If you gonna break da record,,do it in style!!! Mine over 400??? I doubt it....Maybe 250....LOL.....I will definetly be there bro,,,,wouldnt miss it...Hope you can do the weigh off on a day when wife is off,,I'd hate to come up and not get to drink any brewskies,,,,what kind of vittles we havin?? Prime Rib,,baked potatoe,,and pumpkin pie??? I'll make a deal with ya,,if mine has stopped growing,,I'll bring it...Leaves on the vine are about shot,,suppose to be 105 heat index for the next 7 days,,that might make mine finnally stop growing....Hang on to it bro,,nothing is gonna happen to it,,I got lots of faith in ya!!! Hell,,,you are my mentor now,,me and you gotta go fishin so we can sit down and have a long talk bout growing pkins,,I seem to be behind about 200 pounds.... :) ^_^
