Fellow Growers,

I know it's way early, but our group has been planning for this year’s New Bremen Pumpkinfest. We just wanted to let growers know that the New Bremen Giant Pumpkin Growers have moved it's Pumpkinfest from the 2nd weekend of October, to Sept 29th this year.

Our location will remain the same at the Crown Pavilion in New Bremen, Ohio with the huge Bud Screen showing the OSU / Michigan State game. Children games will be provided and will also expand on the a bigger flee market. We are working on more pumpkin food with continuing New Bremen's own Pumpkinbraut's. Beer stand opens at noon including pumpkin beer.

The Miami-Erie canal travels right next to the Pavilion. The canal and Lock #1 has been restored to its original dimensions this winter. Our group would like to celebrate this restoration with pumpkin-boat racing down the canal. We are discussing heat races and providing metals & cash to winners. (I will provide more details at a later date)

We have also added in conjunction with our Pumpkinfest, an antique tractor show.

Band finishes out the night till midnight, so we have a wide range of events for all age groups.
