By the way, the 1009 Kurilich I will put up against any AG ever grown for prettiest, most uniform dark orange color and symmetrical shape. A real beauty. Nice job Joe!

Oops, first mistake already. The new state record squash was grown from 903 Swarts. It was pollinated with 936, though.

it was nice to see chad at the top, he has been working his way up every year and finally made it. that 1248 had me shakin in my boots. lol. i thought the record was going down for sure. i posted some pictures in my diary but they are not up yet.

As Steve said, I am no relation to Bill Edwards, though people often assume so, both being AG growers from the same state.
Good luck with that 691 of yours....thanks for growing it! It's nice to see it proven over 1100 here in Michigan. Then again, Joe Platte could probably grow a Prizewinner to 1100 if he wanted to. :)
