There are several weigh-offs in WA state. Only one is associated with the GPC. This site is in Shorline @ Central Market. Generally the second Sat in October.
3 other weigh-offs lead up to this biginning with the Puyallup Fair, The Farm in Snohomish, and Scholz farm outside Puyallup. All of these are on different weekends.

Huckelberry, go to the main menu, (at the home page) click on GPC page, click on GPC 2007 Weigh-Off's, scroll down to washington.

Huckleberry, the closest weighoff site would be in Aurora/Canby Oregon just south of Portland. This is a GPC event held the first Saturday in October. For more information you can go to firpointfarms.com or www.pgvg.org.

on the west side of the mountains we usually start our seeds in the last week of april and put them out under little greenhouses by the first week of may. key is to have a little greenhouse you can make real cheap from pvc pipe, rebar and roll plastic, need to keep them warm on the cold nights for the first month.
