Well the squash is in the truck & tucked in the garage ready for Wednesday at Circleville. I'm hoping my greenie goes over 400, not quite what I wanted but with the summer we had in Ohio this year & only having 1 plant in your backyard I guess I shouldn't complain.......Paul

It doesn't matter what that squash weighs. As long as I've known you, it seems that you are serious about instilling good values in your kids, and that's what it's all about! We're all growing a lot more than squash and pumpkins here, and we've all seen good times and bad, some more than others. Revel in the day, buddy, because everybody wins this one!

Paul, good luck brother, them squash usually (sp) go heavy, we had one last year that measured 310# it took 5 of us to load it and weighed 557#!

Hey Guys, thanks for the well wishes. I'm up early this morning as the squash has a couple of detours
(1) To my oldest boys school & then to my little ones preschool, they told me we had to show their friends what they are always talking about.
Oh Yea !! I woke up this morning to a great smell. My wife got up early this morning to bake me a loaf of pumpkin bread to take as a snack. Reminds me of a line from one of my favorite songs

It didn't go as heavy as I would liked ( the plant died a month ago & it's been waiting) The greenie weighed 349 lbs

On a brighter note a new site record was set by Bob Liggett at a weight of 935 lbs.........CONGRATS BOB !!!!
