This weekend14 March at Kumeu Showgrounds West Auckland is our first weighoff not been a good year by all accounts but we will see if a decent pumpkin is hiding somewhere.

Not hiding in my patch either though I did win the weigh off 222 kg or 496 lb was taping to go 525 so a bit disappointing but what we get we get.Just hoping the other fruit on that plant can pack some weight before easter about 3/4 weeks behind the main fruitbut only 20 inches of circumfrence behind can't get a OTT measurment on account of where its sitting up against a bank

Ist Fred van Lier 222 kg on my 576 /07
2nd fred van Lier 171 kg on my 576/07 Two different plants
3rd Fred van lier 102.5 kg on wolf792 /06 I should be shot the way this was grown it had only about 150 sq feet of leaves
4th John Matich 101 kg john dropped his fruit when unloading otherwise I'm sure it would have gone heaver
there were about 8 or9 AGs weighed the rest were below 100 kg as well as some 10 other pumpkins
