Is that sunflower the length or size of the head? If it is the length, how was it measured, as in from where to where? The WR is 25 ft 5.5 in.

OOPS - Mistyped the site average - it is 878.2 pounds!!

Sunflowers - this is the the distance across the head in inches (not the plant height).

LIpumpkin - When we get the photos in line, will send you the squash.

Tremor - Each year, the top 10 overall (pumpkin/squash) become the following year's "pro" class. Everyone else is considered Am for that year. Plaques and prize money is awarded for each class separately. We started this several years ago and have found that it makes a more even playing field. Our goal was for new growers to be encouraged and not intimidated - and it has worked well.
