I saw John Roba at the Wayne County Fair. I won't confirm the prize structure until its finalized but I think it will certainly be worthy of a trip to the Northeast for this early weigh off. John is a great guy with a beautifull facility. Complete with a giant corn maze, acres of pumpkins in a beautiful setting. Details should be posted soon.

Dyberry Patch guy and myself met with John Roba at his place to view the weighoff facility and look at his grounds. It is amazing and a perfect setting for a Big Pumpkin Weigh Off. If there are any growers in driving distance who want to get an early pumpkin weighed officially you will not be dissapointed. John and his family have been putting a lot of hard work into their place with new improvements every year and it shows. It is a first class operation with plenty to do for the entire family. John's prize structure is right up there with some of the biggest weigh offs in the northeast region. Not bad for his first year. Saturday September 17th is the date. There will be more information to follow. ( I wish I had a big pumpkin this year).
