I understand Barnesville weigh-off is on the 21st, but I can't find any info on how to register. Can anyone provide a contact person or e-mail address? Or do you just show up and register that evening?

I have gone the past couple years. The weigh-off starts at 6pm and runs till 9pm if I remember correctly. Right in the heart of town you will see the crane truck where they will be lifting the pumpkins, there will be a table set-up next to that, the ladies at the table will have the reg. forms to fill out.

There will be a line of trucks down main street waiting to have there pumpkins lifted and weighed just get in line then go get your reg. form. This is the only site I have seen that does it this way, not the most productive process but you can't beet that old town charm Barnesville has.

as a note you will have to leave your pumpkin there till sunday at 4pm at which time they release the pumpkins to be picked up, I beleive they have about a 1 hour window to pick your pumpkin up after that you forfit your ownership of the fruit and it will be auctioned off
