Not a GPC site this year, but hopefully in the future; Independent this year.
Just passing along some info from the site - it is still at the Great Pumpkin Farm, but the weighoff itself will be under new management.

Hmm?? Non GPC a week after Cooperstown. We will get to see potential results a week in advance and who will stand a good chance of doubling up!

Pumpkins entered at Cooperstown won't be eligible to be entered at the Clarence weigh off.

Why not? If its an Independent weighoff it shouldnt matter. Its usually only GPC events that cant be double entered? Andy what say you?

Not going away just yet! Tom ("No more Ray Waterman? Sweet!") What would be sweet is that you pay your Invoice #04212011 from April 21, 2011. I will have more details and a statement shortly. Ray Waterman

2011 World Pumpkin Weigh-off will be held Saturday October 1 at the Irishman Pub, 5601 Main St in the Village of Williamsville. Event will be at 10 a.m. with registration before. No entry fee and prizes for all classes. Multiple specimens are accepted for each class. No restriction on specimens - they may be removed at the conclusion of the event. All are welcome and you don't have to have a huge specimen to enter. Fun without the pressure of a big money event. Lgourd@aol.com /Ray Waterman

Both sound fun. Hopefully I can enter one of these local contests some year.....If I ever learn how to grow, maybe in 2013.
