Our 4 annual pumpkin weigh off went well weather wise and the race was very close.
1-Jake Vankooten- 914 lbs= 1400 Holland
2-Terry Burley -899 lbs =1141 sandvik
3-Glenn dixon -898 lbs =1421 Stelts -pb and 25% heavy
4- Dave pley -807 lbs =1161 Rodonis x 1556 Rodonis
5-Rod Anderson -736 lbs =1536 Vankooten= 19% heavy
6-Andrea Dixon - 599 lbs
7-Ken Kapps -556 lbs
8- Kerri Perras -500 lbs
9- Don ledingham- 489 lbs
10- Arne eggen - 400 lbs- prettiest pumpkin
11-Art carefoot - 280 lbs
12-Maurizio camparmo= 239 lbs
13-Coleman kapps -130 lbs

We had less pumpkins this year mostly due to the bad summer we fought with, but the crowds were more then ever. I would like to thank my wife Lesley for being a awesome MC and also to Troy Perras for all his hard work and to Art and Geraldine for Putting together the certificates and making the scoreboard. Also thanks to Jake Vankooten for helping in weighing the fruit. I would like to thank Glenn and Andrea Dixon for making the trek over from the mainland and supporting our weigh off. Maurizio camparmo coming over from the mainland to support the nanaimo weigh off. It was nice meeting you. Can't forget to mention Ken Kapps who is always a big help. Congrats to Glenn dixon in growing a personal best.
Thanks to everyone who supported our weigh off and hope to see you all next year. Hope I didn't forget anyone.
