We are getting excited for pumpkin time, people! Join us Saturday, October 6th by 10am at the COUNTRY APPLE ORCHARD South of Sioux Falls, SD for the 2nd GREAT PUMPKIN WEIGH IN! We will have the NEW GROWERS contest with cash prizes for the folks who took home seeds from many of you wonderful growers (I will need seeds again this year if you have extras, send them now!). We also will have a $50 cash award for the pumpkin from the farthest distance, and $400 split among the FIVE largest pumpkins: $150, $100, $75, $50, $25! We also have prizes for the LARGEST GOURD, Squash and Tomato and the Howard Dill award. Join us for a fun morning of pumpkin weighing in the midst of a fabulous family oriented harvest festival!
