Saturday Sept 30th. Penfield Beach, Fairfield Beach Rd Fairfield, CT. Unloading 10:00 am. Weigh off begins 12:00 pm. All pumpkins must be on skids. $20 entry fee. Prizes for pumpkins 1st $1000, 2nd $750, 3rd $500. Squash 1st, 2nd and third place ribbons or plaque. Squash over 500 lbs $500, $400 and $300. Howard Dill award. Pumpkin must be 500lbs or greater.

There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding unloading pumpkins and when the weigh off begins. We will start unloading from your truck with a forklift at 9 am.( On pallets facing the correct direction) All entries should be present by 10:00 am so we can complete the unloading prior to the official weighing which starts at 12 noon.
