I see lots of places listed, but am I only allowed to take my pumpkin somewhere in state? i'm in NC

I believe the weigh-off in NC is in Elkin. Search for the Yadkin Valley Great Pumpkin Contest.

Most weigh-off sites allow entries from other states, but you should check the weigh-off's rules first.
