The Ct. Giant Pumpkins Growers Club (CTGPGC) will hold its annual Giant Pumpkin weighoff on Sunday, September 28 in Ridgefield, Ct. 06877. Please pre-register on the BigPumpkins.com site.
Weighoff starts at Noon. Unloading beginning at 9:30 am
Due to an increase in sponsors this year, we are able to increase our prizes. (1st & 2nd for pumpkins)
Prizes:
Pumpkins: $1500, $1000, $500, $250, $150
Howard Dill Award: $100
Squash: $500, $200, $100
Long Gourd – $100 (new)
We’re also introducing a youth growers category for giant pumpkins. For growers 18 and under, there will be first and second place prizes of $200, $100.
