Congratulations to all at Gale Woods. Unfortunately i could not make it. I went to a smaller unsanctioned weighoff. All though i had the largest pumpkin there at 682. i was disqualified along with others. Apparently you need to grow the sponsors plants. Winner was 44#s. It was still fun and hopefully i will be more competitive next year. I would post pics but still cant post to my diary for some reason.

We will look for you to have a pumpkin at Gale Woods next year! Thanks to everyone who pitched in and helped make the Gale Woods weigh-off a success! Eighteen pumpkins and a top ten average of 1,306 lbs.....a good place to start.

I would like to thank all those who participated and especially all those that helped with this weigh-off. It is a very scenic place and I hope everyone all had fun there. Bill

I cant give enough thanks to the organizers. It was a great event that you put together. My weigh-offs in the past have made me a nervous wreck. This event was very enjoyable. Beautiful site, the other growers were easy to talk with. Any new grower could have had an enjoyable time.Count me in if you need help next year. This is my new favorite weigh-off site.
