The SOGPG is pleased to inform that an additional $5,000.00 has been added to this year's prize list. The changes are: An additional $500.00 to 2nd thru 5th place giant pumpkins, an increase to $1,000.00 for 6th thru 10th place giant pumpkins, an increase in 1st place giant squash to $1,500.00, 2nd place giant squash to $800.00, 3rd place giant squash to $500.00, 4th place giant squash to $400.00, 5th place giant squash to $300.00, and a bonus for new site record giant squash of $250.00.

Site record for pumpkin 2008 Jeremy is correct, the state record is 2058, you can register the day of also. Pre registration would be great but we would be happy to have you!

We regret to say that there was a miscommunication about the amended prize structure posted above. Basically in a nutshell a sponsor fell through. We are increasing the site record bonus for Giant Pumpkins to $1000. Rest assured that all prize money listed in our current prize structure is in our bank and ready to be paid out on weigh off day.
