TONS OF FUN FOR EVERYONE---COME JOIN US

PGPGA is a collaboration of giant pumpkin growers and enthusiasts in Pennsylvania and beyond, sharing ideas, seeds, and giant vegetables! The annual weighoff is held in Altoona, PA every first Saturday in October starting at 10 am. Spectators are free, but if you are planning on bringing an entry please print and complete an entry form for each of your entries and bring it along with your entry by 8-9 am.

Also, membership is required this year, so please try to get your dues paid before you arrive at the weighoff. And during the week prior to the weighoff please pre-register on BigPumpkins.com. This really saves a lot of time at the registration table at the weigh-off.

Just got home from the PGPGA weigh off . One of the best days of the year for me . Talking to the other growers is the best thing ..GREAT group of people !!!

Great time today but whoda thunk I would have needed my sunscreen? Congratulations to Quinn Werner, Dave & Carol Steltz and Dan Wagner, our top three finishers. Oh and congrats to Ted Cope on taking home fourth place. And Dustin Trychta on winning the Squash competition. And shoot, congrats to everyone that made it to the scale this year and for bringing your entries to our weigh-off.
