HiEveryone,

Does anyone know when pumpkins need to be brought to Topsfield for the weigh off? Also, we heard there is a minimum weight of 350 pounds. Is that true? If someone can give us the information, we might be able to bring one of our pumpkins up there just to say we were a part of it all.

Thanks much,

RVSK

Topsfield, Ma.

rvsk,
Topsfield has indeed initiated a 350 lb minimum weight this year. weigh-off is Sept. 29'nth. drop-offs begin a 6:00 A.M.
till 9 A.M. when weighing begins. last year they allowed drop-offs evening before for more local growers or anyone wishing to do so...haven't heard yet if that will be in effect this year. still plenty of time for details. would be great to see you there !!!

My pumpkin was growin good until the cow attacked and killed my big one for Topsfield. Next year they will get butchered if they even try to kill one plant
