 I regretfully announce anoka halloween will not be hosting pumpkin weigh off this fall.  This does not mean it will be cancelled indefinitely. I personally would like to wish all growers and other weigh off sites the best of luck in the 2020 season.

Tony, Anoka has been a great weighoff. I have never had a pumpkin to bring but I have been a spectator at all the Anoka Halloween weighoffs. I certainly understand the reasoning why this year will not happen. Great location...right next to the river, in the Halloween capital of the USA. We will get thru this Covid-19 hick-up. Future years..i am most willing to help with future organization. I hope you are putting some seeds in the ground this year Tony...We need to grow bigger than Chris B.

That is sad Tony.I know it's still along time til fall but we are considering cancelling in Thunder Bay as well.Alot of pumpkins will still be grown in the area but not being able to hold meeting and with the uncertainty it might be for the best.I think pumpkin growing is the best way to self isolate and am still looking forward to this season.Best of luck to everyone!
