This year has been very challenging to say the least, many of these pumpkins were back ups set late in the season on secondaries.
Results were as follows;

1. John Ciesielski 520 pounds
2. Sarah Leonard 506 pounds
3. Robert Ellis 448 pounds
4. Peter Sweet 376 pounds
5. Darold Bovat 182 pounds

We didnt have huge results at our fair either... the good news is, new growers can be proud. (I think the public still considers 500 lbs to be huge. Nice pumpkin & congrats on the win.)

Gritty, you are right the general public is still amazed with a 500 pounder, even though the growers themselves were not.
