For growers in these states, Republic Missouri's Pumpkin Daze Weigh-off is the nearest GPC sanctioned event. It takes place on October 2, 2004 (of course), and all produce must arrive between 8 AM - 11 AM. Awards for pumpkins, squash, watermelon, cantaloupe, tomato. Long gourds, sunflowers, and any other large or unusual produce is also of interest. Visit www.pumpkindaze.com for more information.
