Eastern Idaho Pumpkin Pickin Party was held today at my place. It was a great party and I believe all had a great time. No state record set as my biggest pumpkin weighed 80 pounds light by the older charts and 130 pounds light according to the newest versions. Personal bests set by Blake Christensen, Steve Sorensen, Cliff Warren and Robin Hernie. Had a total of 30 entries. Also had an 85 pound Jack-O-Lantern

I'm with Gordon... GO UTES!

This was a great day. My thanks to Brian and his family for
hosting this. I believe there were 100 or more people there.

In the coming days I'll be posting my usual write-up with
photos.

My only bummer on the day was that my pickup decided to
quit on the way home. Don't worry, it's a Ford
and yes, I'm used to it. The lady at the convienience store
where we left the truck asked, "are you afraid someone will
steal it?" (meaning, the pumpkin) ha ha, good luck finding
5 bad Idahoans at the same time... they just don't exist.
I'm sure it'll still be there when the weekend is over!
