Joe, congrats buddy! YOu just keep pumping out those thousand pounders!

I will say this much after reviewing those crosses, that 906 Glisczinski (1097 Beachy X 986 Checkon) looks to be a very interesting cross. The 1097 is famed for Dan Carlsons monster 1432, and the 986has grown the Checkon 1162 and this years 991.

Congrats to the Ailts family that this 1260 seed did such a good job for you! My own 1260 (x 1236 Eaton) went more than 20 % heavy this year.

Rocky..

Randy's 986 fruit was also over 800 lbs (heavier than est), and might have been taken to the weighoff instead of the 1016 to be exhibition, but the 1016 was pretty and he might have been able to sell it. His 986 Fruit turned very green later in the seasona and probably would have been close to being considered a squash under our weighoff rules and most certainly under GPC rules.

Both of the Ailts fruit went light, around 50-60 lbs each. I was almost certain that 898 was heavy. I guess you cant really know until they are weighed. My own 857, 730, and 605* were 50 plus over charts.

The 896 Roberts fruit was an impressivly tall, wide, ORANGE, ribbed wheel shape grown from the 1134 Holland. I think this seed might be one to get a hold of for the coming growing seasons.

My 986 fruit was about 12% heavy. (est 722 lbs, 810 uow). The 810 was pollinated with the 1097 Beachy. (reverse cross of my 906).
My 820 (1016 Daletas selfed) was estimated at 746 and went 10% heavy. An interesting side fruit on that plant was pollinated with Caseys 735 Pukos,(857 Neuville) which was another 100 lbs over the chart rock (normal for Casey).
The 906 was about est at 918 lbs.
The 7th place pumpkin, the 855 Glisczinski went 12% heavy. It was grown on my 527 seed which was 716 Miller (935 Lloyd sibbed) x 865 Mettler. The pollinator for the 855 fruit was the 1097 Beachy.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. A little dissappointed that the fruit went light, but the excitment of the day and season as a whole takes all that away. Plus the crosses look real juicy for next year. 2005 is underway!!
