The season of 2004 will hopefully go down as the best of the worst growing seasons in our history. We were fortunate to pull the weights we did this season due to the conditions nature handed us. Good Luck To All In 2005 !!!

The Sawtelle 591.6 was not grown in the patch that got the severe hail, but was grown a few miles away in which the hail was a little more mild. And as for all of the Minix fruits, they were all very pretty orange, and the 269.2 looked like a smaller duplicate of the 454 he grew on the 820 werner....

Colorado Springs, Colorado: Weigh- off Results 10-9-04

1. Marc Sawtelle - 591.6 {303 Sawtelle X Self}
303="new and improved 801 Stelts"= 825 F X 940 Mombert M Charted 304 = 578... slightly over chart but grown in very poor soil and only given 200 SF. Started plant 2 -24 - 04 for pruning experiment, thrown in genetic patch at last minute after the big 2004 plant heist on my door step. Was quite root bound, as you'd imagine, never really developed a stump area at all.....

2. James Kane- 553.4 EXH. ( 961 Daletas x 735 Pukos )

3. Doug Minix- 454.2 ( 820 Werner x self )

4. Marc Sawtelle- 374.2 { 1143 Colbert X self} Weighed way over the charts {735 Pukos F X 723 Bobier M {723 clone: grew the 1178 Rivard}

5. Marc Sawtelle- 362.8: Grew at my Eiffler patch, little care {845 Bobier 99 X Self} 845 Bobier 99 = 935 Llyod F X 827 Holland M} Exhibited the 845/723 traits... but no signs of splits...

6. Ron Franzen- 278.4 ( 838.5 Hoomis x 961 Daletas )

7. Doug Minix- 269.2 ( 993 Johnson x 820 Werner )

8. James Kane- 268.8 ( 652 Pukos x 805 Pukos )

9. Marc Sawtelle- 240.6 { 805 Pukos X Garrell's 1092 Burke X self genetic} Grew on single vine & couple of 3-4' sides in 100 SF/ appx. 50 sun leaves

10. Doug Minix- 231.4

11. Ron Franzen- 218.2 ( 838 Hoomis x 961 Daletas )

12. Marc Sawtelle- 217.8 {530 Gancarz x Self} Perfect round shape, charted perfect/ late August fruit set/ Was definatly not a typical modern day genetic plant; A MUST for next year for me...

13. Marc Sawtelle- 209.8 {735 Pukos x Self} Grew 7 pumpkins on 8 "clones"...This was one of two larger fruits... 80 SF....

14. Kane – Koppy- 199.2 ( 838 Hoomis x 961 Daletas )

15. Kane – Koppy- 191 ( 746 Larue x 961 Daletas )

16. Marc Sawtelle- 187 {407 Sawtelle/ Eiffler X Sibb} 407 = 940 Mombert 98 X Self...Loooong and young {yellow}... hope to get some seeds out of this one fer sur!

17. Marc Sawtelle- 106 {other sibb of 407, also sibbed} Only a few weeks old/ little to no hope for seeds}

18. Jenna - Jason Randall- 80.2

19. Tiffany Kuchan- 47

20. Kevin Holcomb- 31.4

21 Marc Sawtelle - DMG 187.6 {563 Geerts F X 696 Hoomis M} Male plant never grew anything that didn't tear apart, but was the most unique genetic I ever grew... threw 3 tap roots at each leaf node {Hoomis was 567 Wallace X self} Feel brave? Grow this seed... two splitter crosses...lol

Have a lot more than what is listed... had 25 others, not enough room for those, and tried to get those to grow out mature seeds {freeze ruined that plan... for several smaller fruits}

How is that for genetic info...LOL
