Where I live, it is quite common to have a high temperature above 90° F and humid weather in the Summer. This year the temperature rarely climbed above 90° F. I think this had a positive effect on the plant and the 279 gourd. How hot does it get in Valencia? Doug

I wish to thank everyone who requested the 279.5 seeds. I hope everybody will achieve a new PB. A 300+ lb. gourd is a real possibility in 2015.
As of today, I can no longer honor any future requests for seeds since I am down to a very small # of seeds for myself. Any individuals who have requested the seeds but have not sent your bubble, don't worry as I am holding the seed packets for you. Best of luck in 2015! Doug
