I've seen several pictures of marrows where they have multiple ring indentations into the fruit. Is this a "Dill Ring"? or does something cause this to happen? My marrows that I have growing don't have this.

They are essentially Dill rings. Large change in temperatures and/or water will cause them. Most of them end up splitting or developing a hole in the ring.
