Will only be my fourth year growing but through exchanges/auctions/trades/gifts have a couple I plan to try in 2016. ( If they germinate)
845 Nesbitt 01 ( 846 Calai 99 x 723 Bobier 99)
364 Webster 04 ( 1016 Daletas 01 x 1036 Companion 03)
I am fortunate to have the chance to grow a lot of big oranges each year since I have a commercial pumpkin business and need several for sale/display purposes.

I grew the 364 in 09 (it was old then) The 364 Webster is an amazing pumpkin. It grows picture perfect pumpkins. Round and orange! The shape and color are tops with the 364. I am excited, i hope you get it to germinate!

I'm growing my 250 Rahe and 620 Rahe from 2013. Both have 801.5 Stelts 97 selfs, sibs or clones in the lineage, no outcrosses. the 364 has grown over 1,000 lbs. I would cross those older oranges with something newer. The 874 Geyelin grew me a stunning 823 Rahe. While the 1374 Engel would make a good cross as well and it packs the 2009 in the lineage.
If your interested in some older orange genetics, I have seeds from about 2004- 2009 with some killer untried orange crosses. Shoot me an email.

I plan on growing the 603.5 Muller 03 X self next year. Even though I made the selfed cross last year, you could call it older genetics, I guess.

If I recall correctly, the 603.5 Muller 03 was the 845 Nesbitt 01 X self. I think I also recall seeing another nice orange pumpkin grown off the 845 Nesbitt 01 awhile ago. I'm pretty sure I've got a couple 845 Nesbitt 01 seeds myself.

I am strongly considering growing the 434 Gerhardt 06. It is 1230 Daletas x 603.5 Muller. Every pumpkin I ever grew off that seed was spectacular. It grew my 1200 EST DMG and also my 923 in 2009. Then I started getting better at growing in 2010 but I never turned back to this seed. I kinda feel like I owe it to the seed somehow.

I would cross it with the 504 House, that cross would yield: (1230 Daletas x 603.5 Muller) x (840 Young x 811 Gerhardt).

I would have to boot the 1817 McConkey in order to do this, but I've done crazier things like planting nothing but 811 Gerhardts in 2013...

Since some years I started some old seeds in my „Methusalem-Project“, but the germinating-rate is near zero.....
Exception: Last year a 1180 Daletas03 germinated well, made a beautiful halloween-pumpkin and had pollinated my „FREDDY“ ( 102.5 MC-Krueger15 ).

This year I try a 937 Mombert98, 728 Gatewood01, 570 Stelts01 and 380 Kincaid00.....
...but I have no idea if one of them is an orange-producer.

I agree on the germination of these older seeds, a lot of times they just wont germinate.
But if anybody can germinate an old seed it would be the
orange growers on this sight, they know all the little
special tricks.

I am waiting on the mailman for a 901 Hunt 2007. If it germinates will probably be in the patch this year.

I almost forgot about the 670 Daigle Brett. That one threw some beauties years ago. Io think some went heavy to the chart as well. I was a little to careful with my money back then, to purchase one at auction.
