I know this a long shot and when I see some of the seed posts I think "well ya-- everyone would like to get that seed" but would really like to grow the 1059 again. I am looking at using it to pollinate the pumpkins in the genetic orange project since it is the most recent common ancestor to the three seeds. I have a lot of different orange seeds I could offer for trade ( but they are not as special as the 1059). email me at jhouse55@hotmail.com if you are interested. I am putting the same post on the seed exchange board.

agteacher, you should participate in pumpkin poker at the big show. Many orange seeds will be up for grabs including the 1059, 1157, 1317, along with classic old Howard Dill seeds and many others. It's a lot of fun, the dealer determines the anti according to the value of the seed being put up. Just might be your lucky night!

Seed found. What a great group of growers. Todd-- I am looking forward to my first time playing pumpkin poker. Probably will get taken to the cleaners as I am not much of a card player but if I do get a 1059 it would be great. Always good to have a backup of older seeds.
